Again a Lied by the composer Dorothee Fischer. Quite dramatic and not the least bit easy to perform. In a 5 day recording session in July this year at Prior Mead Studio we discovered to a growing extent the mastery and maturity of this female composer who has hardly ever been performed beyond her local community. Her musical education was: 1 years piano tuition at the age of 17 and the rest was learning from those who went before....there was no easy listening in her house-hold.
