Georgia State Patrol Troopers and Motor Carrier Compliance Officers with the Georgia Department of Public Safety will conduct a three-day statewide traffic enforcement safety detail focusing on the unsafe operation of commercial motor vehicles. The operation began today and ends on Thursday, November 5. It is a part of the 12 month, “Stop the Threat,” high visibility enforcement campaign to target unsafe driving behaviors among commercial motor vehicle (CMV) drivers.
