During this Peer to Peer forum, the socio-economic and geo-political importance of India will be explored. Its democratic system offers an example in the aftermath of the Arab Spring. Our speaker will offer his perspective on India's relevance in the region and world. About the speaker: Mr. Jegadesan Kannan, is an EMPA student from India. He is a member of Indian Police Service, and has worked in many parts of India and a UN Mission in Kosovo. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant, (the equivalent of CPA). Most recently, he served as the Private Secretary to Union Minister, in Government of India.
