Be the hero at your next campfire- cook up some AWESOME gourmet eats over FLAMES! Yeah! You can do this! Here's the recipe: Cous Cous with Shrimp and Cajun Cream Sauce Recipe (Serves 2) Ingredients: Cous Cous, 1 cup Water, 1-1/4 cup Pat of butter (I TBSP) Tomato sauce or blended stewed tomatoes (what I used) 4 oz. Onion, chopped, 4 oz. Red or sweet bell pepper, sliced or diced- 1/2 pepper. Evaporated milk, 4 oz. Shrimp, 1/2 lb. Garlic cloves, diced, 3 Olive Oil, 1-1.5 TBSP Cajun spice, 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire Sauce, 1/2 tsp. Tobacco, salt & pepper to taste NOTE: It is easier to do all of your preparation at home before you go camping, but it can also be accomplished in the field with a little effort. Prepare enough hot water for cous cous for 2 people. (Use 1-1/4 cup for 1 cup of cous cous as a guide.) Saute garlic in olive oil. Add shrimp and sauce another 2-3 minutes. Remove shrimp from pan. Add veggies and cook for 3-5 min. Add hot water to cous cous and butter. Stir and cover for 5 minutes. Meanwhile, add evaporated milk, spices, and tomato sauce to veggies in pan and let cook for 5-7 minutes. Add cooked shrimp and cook for 2 more minutes. Add salt/pepper/tobasco to taste. Pour over cous cous. ENJOY!
